Rules & Regulations
We want every guest to have a safe and enjoyable stay. Please review our park rules below.
General
- All guests must register at the office upon arrival
- Speed limit is 10 km/h throughout the park
- One RV unit per site; maximum two vehicles per site
- Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM
- Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Winter Rules
These Winter Rules apply from the date seasonal water is shut off until water service is restored in spring. They form part of our Terms & Conditions and apply to all guests staying during the winter season.
1. Water Service
- Water to individual sites is shut off for the winter. The shut-off date depends on the weather and usually falls in October.
- Water stays off at the sites until spring.
- A fill hose is kept in the laundry room and reaches every site in the park. Guests fill their own fresh water tanks.
- The hose must be rolled back into the laundry room immediately after each use. A hose left outside will freeze and become unusable for every guest.
2. Facilities Open All Winter
- Sewer connections at the sites stay open all winter.
- Washrooms and showers stay open all winter and are free for registered guests.
3. Sewer Use
- Keep your sewer valves closed at all times unless you are actively draining your tanks.
- When you drain, empty your black water tank first, then your grey water tank.
- Close your valves immediately once draining is finished.
- Leaving a valve open lets liquid sit in the sewer hose and line, where it will freeze and block the line.
4. Frozen Lines & Equipment
- If a sewer line, water line, or the park fill hose freezes or is damaged because a guest did not follow these Winter Rules or was otherwise negligent, the guest will be charged the full cost of thawing, repair, or replacement.
- Examples of negligence include leaving sewer valves open, failing to close valves after draining, and leaving the fill hose outside.
5. Electricity Allowance
- Weekly rates include up to 100 kWh of electricity per week.
- Monthly rates include up to 400 kWh of electricity per month.
- Usage above the included allowance is billed at the rate Edson RV Park is charged by its utility provider.
- Overage charges are calculated at the end of each weekly or monthly period and are due when billed.
6. Payment Authorization & Agreement
- By booking, you authorize Edson RV Park to charge the payment card on file for electricity overage and for any repair, thawing, or replacement costs under these Winter Rules, including charges assessed after check-out.
- By booking or staying at Edson RV Park during the winter season, you agree to follow these Winter Rules.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Generators are not permitted during quiet hours
- Loud music, parties, or disruptive behaviour not tolerated at any time
Pets
- Pets welcome ($5/night fee applies)
- Must be leashed and supervised at all times
- Owners must clean up after pets immediately
- Pets not permitted in washrooms or laundry
Fires & Firewood
- Campfires in designated fire pits only
- Firewood must be purchased on-site
- Never leave a campfire unattended
- Fully extinguish fires before leaving your site
- Obey all fire bans — no exceptions
Site & Property
- Keep your site clean and tidy at all times
- Do not move fire pits, picnic tables, or park equipment
- No damage to trees, shrubs, or park property
- No permanent structures, tarps, or clotheslines
Vehicles & Parking
- Park only within your assigned site
- No vehicle repairs on park property
- All vehicles must have valid registration & insurance
- ATVs and off-highway vehicles not permitted
